Turmeric and Ginger Shots
These little beauties provide a great boost if you are feeling a bit under the weather, with a sore throat, a cold or just a little run down.
They are simple. Get a juicer. Cut a finger sized amount of root ginger and 3 x apples into quarters (crunchy, juicy jazz or Braeburn apples add sweet taste). Juice both and add a little cold water to rinse through juicer.
Pour into a storage bottle.
Add a few scoops of ground turmeric powder and mix well, this is optional but turmeric has many health benefits, such as relieves joint pain, enhances immune health, improves body’s inflammatory response. So why not!
Pour into a shot glass and toast with your loved one together. Salut, bottoms up and pretend it is a tequila slammer!
